Having discussed historical context and the evolution of wokeness, its intersectionality and impact in the previous roundtable discussion, this follow-up session will have three aims;
To provide;
- an exploration around the politicisation of Wokeness, analysing how media (news, social media, films, TV shows) has shaped public perceptions of wokeness.
- an opportunity and opening to discuss our own challenges when responding to anti-wokeness.
- strategies for dealing with wokeness in the workplace.
